After Rain

The land I love, 

has been dry for too long. 

But the Lord saw fit, 

and darkened the skies.

Cracked earth now floods

with natures tears.

Springing forth glimmers of green,

with each drop. 

A simple reminder,

that after death there’s hope. 

The Humble Bubble

Beauty and Thorns
