“Giving or serving as a warning”

[(In church use) a letter of admonition from the Pope or a bishop – Noun]

It wasn’t like she’d killed anybody,

So why was her mother giving her a subtle look of judgement,

That monitory side glance.

She’d been served a grounding already,

Not to mention she was getting over the remnants of a hangover,

So why couldn’t her mum just let it go?
